1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening/closing an existing grave.

2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well.

3. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for cremation.

Invoice Terms
  • Deposits: all third party charges to be paid at the arrangement stage or within 48 hours of the funeral taking place.
  • Please let us know if there are funds in estate accounts, a solicitor is administering the estate, or life insurance will be used to pay the balance.
  • Early Payments Discount– Your invoice will be discounted by £50 if the balance is paid in full before the funeral takes place. (Excludes Unattended cremations and Basic’s and Packages.)
  • Non Payment – if payment of the final invoice is an issue we may make an arrangement to pay. If the bal-ance is not paid we may engage a third party to collect the balance on our behalf who may also add fees charges and interest.
  • Payment Types – we accept payment by Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit and Debit Card.
Charitable Donations
  • From time to time we may make donations in of £250 to various good causes and charities in the area. Those donations will be usually be in the form of sponsorship and we do not expect or require any recommendation for our support. We hold a register of charitable donations which is on display in our premises.
  • The donations are not from collections at funeral services.
